Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Grippy, developed by Plaind (dawid@plaind.pl). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

The service

Grippy lets you photograph a boulder, mark holds on it, and log climbing sessions. Your data syncs to your account so it isn't tied to a single device. The app is under active development — features may change, and we'll do our best to avoid breaking changes to your existing data.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself and for what happens under your account. Let us know at dawid@plaind.pl if you think someone else has access to it.

Your content

Photos, notes, and any other content you add stay yours. We store it to provide the service — syncing it across your devices — and don't use it for anything else, don't sell it, and don't claim ownership over it. Don't upload photos or content you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, abusive, or infringing on someone else's rights.

Acceptable use

Use the app for what it's for. Don't try to break it, scrape it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm the service or other users.

No warranty

Grippy is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we can't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Back up anything genuinely irreplaceable to you elsewhere too.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Plaind isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Account → Delete account). This is permanent. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
